Meet Dr. Andrea Navarro
Dr. Andrea Navarro was born in Mexico City, which is also known as “the navel of the moon” because the position of the early lakes of Mexico City resemble a similar pattern to that of the moon, which both resemble a rabbit.
Dr. Andrea spent a lot of time with her brother and best friend, Carlos, while they were growing up and she was always studying, trying to discover more about the world through science. She’s always loved animals and had the opportunity to study veterinary medicine at one of the best Universities in the World, the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
She graduated with honors in 2018 and successfully applied to a medical internship in Cairo, Egypt in 2020. She’s most interested in orthopedics, dermatology, ophthalmology and internal medicine.
In her spare time Dr. Andrea, or Dr. Andy as we call her, enjoys travelling, skating, walking and meeting new people. She has formed many lasting friendships with people all over the world. She has two cats, a gray cat named Kal and a tuxedo cat named Totti.
Dr. Andy came to Chinook in April 2023 and we’re so thrilled to have her as part of the Chinook Pet Clinic team! She’s looking forward to meeting your furry best friends!
